Hughie O'Donovan

O'Donovan (Kilmore, Bandon and late of Newcestown) on April 18th 2018 after a short illness and in the tender and loving care of the Doctors, Nurses and Staff at Cork University Hospital (in his 95th year) Eugene (Hughie) P.C. (Funeral Director), (Vice President of Valley Rovers G.A.A. Club, Master of The Upton Harrier Club and a member of numerous clubs and committees) beloved husband of the late Mary (nee Curtin) and dear father of Helen (Gabriel), Teresa (Brennan), Willie and Ann (O'Sullivan) and the late Marion and Noel, brother of the late Nora, Jerry, Humphrey, Sonny and Matt and great-grandfather of the late Robbie.

Sadly missed by his loving family, sister Ellen, brothers John and Neil, daughter-in-law Nancy, Willies Partner Caroline, sons-in-law Robert, Michael and Peter, his adored 13 grandchildren, his 2 great-grandchildren Joey and Shay, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law Liam, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, cousins, good neighbours, relatives and his many many great friends in the hunting, sporting and music world.

Lying in repose at The Family Funeral Home in Bandon on Thursday from 6-30pm followed by Rosary at 8pm and on Friday lying in repose from 4pm followed by Removal at 7pm to St. Mary's Church, Innishannon. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 3pm, funeral afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
