Hughie Smith, Ryefort, Carrickaboy, Co Cavan, Friday 28th March peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family.
Pre-deceased by his parents Michael and Margaret, sisters Monica Fay and Anna Daly.
Beloved husband of Eileen and dear father of Michael, John (Ciara), Hubert (Tracey), Martin (Zara), Fiona (Mikey), Brendan (Grainne), Emer (Andrew) and Colette (James).
Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters sons in law, daughters in law his 14 adored grandchildren, sisters Rosemary, Kitty, Teresa and Marian, brothers in law Pat Smith, Francie Fay, Martin Hynes, Pat Daly, John Delaney, sister in law Nuala Delaney, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and many friends.
Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, tomorrow Saturday from 4.00pm until 8.00pm with a break from 6.00pm until 6.15pm.
Removal from his home, on Sunday at 12.30pm to St Matthew's Church, Drumavaddy H12 NY84 arriving for Requiem Mass at 1.00pm, Interment afterwards in the adjoining new cemetery.
