Humphrey Lynch,

formerly Wallstown, Castletownroche

in his 90th year, passed away peacefully on May 25th 2025, surrounded by his loving family

and in the tender loving care of the nurses and staff of Abbeylands Nursing Home, Kildorrery.

Son of the late Paddy and Nora Lynch, brother of the late Betty and brother-in-law of the late Dan Burke.

Humphrey was a loving husband to Pauline (nee Burke) and a cherished dad to Patrick, John and Gillian.

He will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by his wife and family, grandchildren; Clara, Darren, Rebecca, Sarah, Rachel and Dillon, great grandchildren Liam and Jacob, daughters-in-law Eleanore and Pauline, son-in-law Pat, brother-in-law Brother John, sister-in-law Annie, his cousin John Buckley and his wife Breda and his cousin Eily Burton, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.

May Humphrey Rest In Peace

Humphrey will repose on Wednesday evening, May 28th in the Oratory of Abbeylands Nursing Home Kildorrery, Eircode P67NH76 from 7pm to 8.30pm.

Reception into St. Bartholomew's Church Kildorrery for Requiem Mass on Thursday morning, May 29th at 11am.

Burial afterwards in the Church grounds of St Nicholas' Church Killavullen.

Funeral Mass will be live streamed on mcn.live/camera/st-bartholomews-church

The Lynch family would like to express their thanks to Hazelwood Medical centre, New Twopothouse Mallow for providing Humphrey's medical needs in his earlier years and to Dr Gareth Linehan, Living Health, Mitchelstown who supported him in more recent times, also to Thornhills Pharmacy Kildorrery who provided all his medical requirements.

Finally, a special word of thanks to the nurses and staff of Abbeylands Nursing Home Kildorrery who cared and supported Humphrey in the final years of his life.
