FARRELLY Ian (Drogheda, Co. Louth and formerly of Artane, Dublin) 24th March 2025. Peacefully, at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin, surrounded by his loving family, following an illness fought with positivity and great courage. Beloved husband and best friend of Gabi and devoted Dad to Daniel and Róisín. Sadly missed by his wife and family, his parents Tommy and Kay, twin brother Brian, brother Aaron, Brian’s partner Louise, his brothers-in-law Tom, Conor, John and Vincent (Kennedy), nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives and wide circle of friends and his colleagues in New Boliden Tara Mines and in The Base Metal Exploration Community in Ireland and globally.

Reposing at F Watson & Son Funeral Directors, Dyer St, Drogheda (A92 W7EP) on Wednesday evening from 5pm until 7pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday morning at 11am in St Mary’s Church, James’ St, Drogheda (A92 XO96) which can be viewed live at www.stmarysdrogheda.ie Cremation service afterwards in Dardistown Crematorium (K67 HP26) at 1.30pm which can be viewed live on https://www.dctrust.ie/location/dardistown/dardistown-chapel-webstreaming.html
