The death has occurred of
Ian Furlong
Ian Furlong, of Ballymore Eustace, Co. Kildare. Originally of Walkinstown, Dublin. Died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on the 23rd March 2020 in St. Brigid’s Hospice after a long illness. Will be sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Marian, his children Kenneth, Andrea and Nicola, his grandchildren Killian, Libby, Pippa, Donnacha, Éada and Rowan and his extended family.

Given the exceptional climate and to protect everyone who knew Ian, a private funeral with immediate family only will take place on Wednesday. Those who would have liked to attend Ian's funeral, but due to these restrictions cannot, may leave a personal message for the family on the condolence page below or send condolences in the traditional manner. The family thank you for your cooperation, understanding and support during this sensitive time.
In lieu of flowers, the family would encourage donations to St. Brigid’s Hospice in the Curragh as a thank you for all their kindness to Ian.
A memorial in honour of Ian’s life will be held at a future date.
