Ian McAuliffe

McAULIFFE (Clonakilty and Monkstown), on 21st October 2024, peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Care Choice Nursing Home, Clonakilty, following a long illness graciously borne. IAN, beloved husband of Bríd and much loved father of Aileen, Aisling, Niamh and Donal. Sadly missed by his loving wife, family, sons-in-law Shane and Aidan, brother Don and his wife Carole, sister Jeanette and her late husband Denis Mitchell, grandchildren Louis, Nell, Tadgh, Tola, Iarliath and Naoise, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, godchildren Justine and Patrick, relatives and friends.

Lying in Repose at Foleys Funeral Home, South Square, Clonakilty (P85 NN60) on Wednesday, 23rd October, from 5pm followed by prayers at 6:45pm.

Requiem Mass on Thursday 24th at 11am in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Clonakilty which will be livestreamed here.

Private Cremation later.

The McAuliffe family would like to thank the carers who supported Ian at home, the public health nurses and the staff of both Marymount Hospice and Care Choice Nursing Home.

We would like to thank, most sincerely, Doctor Ian Bell for his dedicated care to Ian. We would also like to thank all the staff of the Primary Care Centre and Harrington’s Pharmacy for their excellent service.
