Ignatius (Iggy) Burke

Willow Green, Willow Park, Athlone, Westmeath and formerly Cartron House, Marble Hill, Balinakill, Loughrea, Galway. Ignatius better known as Iggy passed from this life Tuesday March 12th surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Maura, he is sadly missed by his son Derek, daughter in law Liz, granddaughter Lauren, brothers Walter and Blake, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Natia will repose at his residence from 4oc to 8oc Thursday, March 14th. The funeral cortége will arrive to St. Mary's Church, St. Mary's Place, Athlone for Requiem Mass for Iggy at 11am on Friday, March 15th. Funeral procession afterwards to Ballinakill Cemetery, Ballinakill, Co. Galway where Iggy will be laid to rest. Family flowers only by request, donations, if desired, to Palliative Care Athlone Homecare Team.
