Ignatius Raftery

Ignatius Raftery The Lime Kiln, Bunratty, Co. Clare and late of Coshla Lodge, Athenry, Co. Galway. June 22nd 2024 peacefully, after a long illness bravely borne, at Cratloe Nursing Home.

Beloved husband of the recently deceased Hilda. Dearly loved father of Marinella, John, Amy and Evelyn. Very sadly missed by his devoted family, sons-in-law Pat (Frost), Mike (Ferguson) and Paddy (Keating), daughter-in-law Martina (Mannion), brothers Walter and Prof Tom, sisters Una (Walsh) and Lily (Geary), his adored grandchildren Paddy, Harry, Eva, Luan and Fiadh, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Ignatius will repose in Mc Mahons Funeral Home, Newmarket-on-Fergus this Monday (24th June) from 6pm to 7:30pm. Arriving for funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Wells Church, Clonmoney (eircode V95 RX45) on Tuesday (25th June) at 1pm followed by burial afterwards in Bunratty Cemetery.
