The death has occurred of
Imelda McDonnell
McDonnell (née Dalton), Imelda (Clontarf, Dublin 3.) on 4th September, 2023 (peacefully) in the exceptional and loving care of the Little Sisters of the Poor and staff of the Sacred Heart Residence, Sybil Hill Road, with the continued assistance of St. Francis Hospice Community Palliative Care Team, Raheny; beloved wife of the late Gerard and treasured mother of the late Anne; lovingly remembered and very sadly missed by her children Barry and Susan, daughter-in-law Brigid, her sister Mary, nieces, nephews, extended family, wonderful friends and kind lifelong neighbours.
May Imelda’s gentle soul rest in the heart of the Trinity.
Reposing in the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand, on Saturday afternoon (9th September) from 3 o’clock to 5 o’clock. Requiem Mass on Monday morning (11th September) at 10 o’clock in the Church of St. John the Baptist, Clontarf Road, followed by Funeral to Glasnevin Crematorium. House private, please.
