Beech Park, Blackrock, Co. Louth and formerly of
St. Anthony’s, Green Lane, Rathnapish, Carlow.
Former National President of The Irish Countrywomen’s Association (ICA).
Passed away peacefully in her 94th Year, in the wonderful care of the staff of St. Oliver Plunkett Nursing Home, St. Cecilia’s Ward, on Monday, 26th January 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her husband Gerard (Ger), and parents Edward and Annie.
Beloved mother of Niall, Conor, Aisling and Daragh.
Ina will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sons, daughter, son-in-law Peter Farren, daughters-in-law Antoinette and Fiona, adored grandchildren Ciara, Róisín, Cillian, Craig, Garvan, Neil, Aaron, Shauna and Rebecca, great-grandchildren, brother Kevin, sister Therese Jackman, nephews, nieces, extended family relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the residence of her daughter Aisling Farren, Willow Grove, Carrick Road on Wednesday from 3pm to 8pm.
Removal on Thursday morning at 10.40am driving to St. Joseph’s Redemptorst Church [A91WY98] arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow arriving at 3pm approximately.
