Iola Griffiths

Griffiths, Iola (Ily), (née Nugent) – 4th of June 2025, (Ballyfermot and formerly of Bridgefoot St), peacefully surrounded by her children and her only granddaughter Alannah (Lanny) at Our Lady’s Hospice, Harolds Cross. Predeceased by her beloved husband Billy, mother Peggy and brothers David, Terrance and Raymond. Iola will be very sadly missed by her loving daughter Azaria, sons Mark, William, Dillon and Dean, daughters-in-law Carol, Nichola, Amanda and Zoe, son-in-law Michael, her adored grandchildren Devon, Lanny, Harlem, Tyler. Kendrick, Austin and Carter, brothers Pat and Francy, niece Louise, her best friend Danielle, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Iola will be reposing at Stafford’s Funeral Home, Ballyfermot Friday 6th June from 3pm to 5pm. A celebration of Iola’s life will be held at Stafford’s Funeral Home, Ballyfermot at 10am followed by a cremation service at Mount Jerome Crematorium at 11.30am.

The Griffiths family would like to give a special thanks to all the staff in Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold's Cross and to St James Hospital for their professional, empathetic, and dedicated attention they gave Iola during her time in their care
