Irene (Née Ecock) Bodkin (Sutton, formerly of Raheny) died peacefully, 1st December 2025, in the wonderful care of the lovely staff at St Francis Hospice, Raheny, surrounded by her loving family. Loving wife to Noel, devoted mother to Susan, Stephen, Cheryl and Lisa.

Loved, cherished and missed by her husband, children, sons-in-law Joe and Robbie, daughter-in-law Maria, grandchildren David & his wife Liz, Katie, Joshua, Daniel and James, great-granddaughter Cora, sisters Jane and Liz, brother Alan, sisters and brothers-in-law and extended family. Predeceased by her baby sister Mary and her son-in-law Damien.

Reposing Wednesday, 5pm until 7pm, at Frank Jennings Funeral Home, Greendale Road, Kilbarrack, Dublin 5, Eircode D05KP90. Removal from Frank Jennings Funeral Home Thursday at 10:45am to arrive for 11am funeral mass at the Church of the Resurrection, Bayside, Dublin 13, followed by burial in Balgriffin New Extension Cemetery.
