The death has occurred of
Irene Halpin
(née Purdue)
On 28th July 2025, peacefully, in Beaumont Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Irene, beloved wife of Dermot, cherished mother of John, Karen and Eoin. She will be sadly missed by her loving family, son-in-law Andrew and daughter-in-law Jessica, grandchildren Casey, Robyn, Fiadh and Anthony, brother Peter, sister Joan, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
A special thanks to all the wonderful Health Care Assistants who helped through many illnesses and the staff in A&E and ICU of Beaumont Hospital who looked after us so well during her final hours.
We miss her so much.
Reposing at the Garden Chapel of the Fanagan Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand, on Saturday evening (2nd August) from 2pm until 5pm.
A celebration of Irene’s life will take place on Sunday (3rd August) at 12noon in the Garden Chapel, followed by private cremation. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, to Enable Ireland, where Irene was a volunteer for many years.
