Irene Kinsella (née Holden)
Kinsella’s Shop, High Street, Graignamanagh, Co. Kilkenny
Irene passed away peacefully at St Luke’s General Hospital surrounded by her loving family on the 12th of March 2026 in the exceptional care of the Barrow Ward.
Beloved wife of Ted and predeceased by her infant son David, parents Ted & Betty, sisters Margie and Moira, and Brother Teddy.
Much loved mother of Michael, Leon, Ward, Marie & Nicola and cherished mother-in-law of Ena, Fergal, Audrey, and Declan. Adored grandmother of David, Stuart, Shane, Rachel, Sarah, Aishling, Megan, Holly, Carrie, Katie, Marie, and Saoirse, and great-grandmother of Holly, Cian, Robbie, Noah, and Siadbh. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love by her sister Sally, her brothers Johnny and Tucker, her nieces, nephews, relatives, extended family, neighbours, many friends, and lifelong customers.
Reposing at The Quay, Tinnahinch (Eircode R95 KF59) next door to Bakers Quay apartments, on Saturday from 1pm concluding at 7pm. Removal on Sunday at 10:30am from her home at High St to arrive at Duiske Abbey, Graignamanagh for 11am Requiem Mass. Burial in St. Michael's Cemetery, Tinnahinch following funeral Mass. Family home strictly private please.
Family flowers only. Donations if desired can be made to the Barrow Ward, St Luke’s Hospital. A collection box will be available for donations at the wake.
