Irene Wharton, (nee O’ Connor), Woodview House,Lake Road, Waterville, Co Kerry and formerly of Bohocogram, Sneem, Co. Kerry.

Irene passed away peacefully on March 22nd, 2025 in tender care of the doctors, nurses and carers of Palliative Care Unit, University Hospital Kerry.

Predeceased by her parents Micheal and Catherine, brother Brendan and sister Agnes.

Sadly missed by her beloved husband Terence, daughters Louise (O' Sullivan), Suzanne, son Terence, her dear grandchildren Killian, Etain, Cathal, Conor and Daniel, sister Kathleen, brothers James and Michael, son-in-law Gerard, daughter-in-law Avril, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing on Sunday evening (March 23rd) in Fitzgerald’s Funeral Home Waterville (V23RK24) from 5-30pm followed by removal at 7-45pm to St Finian’s Church Waterville arriving at 8pm.

Requiem mass on Monday morning (March 24th) at 11am followed by burial in the Adjoining Cemetery.
