The death has occurred of
Isabelle Foyle
(née McKenna)
Formerly of the Falls Road, Belfast, Templemore, Co. Tipperary and Caisleán Nua Uacht, Gaillimh.
Isabelle died peacefully surrounded by her much-loved family at the Galway Clinic in the early hours of Saturday, 13 January 2024. A wonderful, creative lady in her 93rd year. Predeceased by her husband Brendán and by her brother Danny.
Cherished dearly by her nine children Gearóid, Mairéad, Bernadette, Sibéal, Eoin, Úna, Dónal, Íde, Eibhlín, and their families, by her brothers Robert, Brian, Patrick, and James, and sisters Kathleen, Eileen, and Margaret by her twenty grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren and by the extended Foyle and McKenna family and friends. Deeply loved by all.
Reposing at her home (H91 W40P) on Monday, 15 January 2024 from 6.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Isabelle on arrival at St. James’ Church, Bushy Park on Tuesday, 16 January at 11 a.m. and following Mass she will be laid to rest in the new cemetery, Bohermore. This Mass will not be livestreamed.
