Ita McCABE
(née Jackman)
McCABE - (nee Jackman), (Brusna, Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon and late of Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny). January 16th, 2025 - (peacefully yet unexpectedly) at Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar; Ita.
Predeceased by her beloved daughter Sandra McCann, her sister Marie Flynn, her brother Denis Jackman, step-sisters Ellen Overy, Nina O'Mara, Catherine Bartlett, step-brothers Eamonn and Gerry Long.
Ita will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her heartbroken family, her husband Seamus, sons John and Seamus, grandchildren Paul, Cian, Chloe, David, Shauna, Oisin, Zara and Leah, son-in-law Martin, Seamus' former partner Michelle, John's former partner Breege, her sister Margaret Quinn (Fethard, Co. Tipperary), relatives, neighbours and her many friends.

Ita will lie in repose in The Kilgarriff Funeral Home, Ballaghaderreen on Sunday evening from 5 o’clock to conclude with evening prayer at 7 o’clock.
Removal from her home on Monday morning to arrive at The Church of the Sacred Heart, Brusna for Mass of the Resurrection at 11:30am, with burial afterwards in Naomh Mobhí cemetery, Kilmovee.
