Ita Phillips
(née Mannion)

Ita passed away peacefully but unexpectedly on Sunday 31st January, 2021, in the care of the wonderful staff of Coral Haven Nursing Home. Dearly beloved wife of the late Jim and much adored Mum of Caroline, Seamus, Lorraine (O'Brien), Saundra (Downes), Garrett, Adrian and Colm (Italy). She will be sadly missed by her heartbroken sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her sister Patricia Egan (Dublin), sister-in-law Teresa Mannion (Kilkerrin), brother-in-law Tomás Egan, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Pre-deceased by her sisters Ann and Kathleen, her brother Jimmy, brother-in-law Michael and treasured grandson Ashton. 

A private family funeral will take place in accordance with current Government and HSE guidelines.  The attendance at the church, outside the church door and at the cemetery will be limited to 10 people.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated privately with Ita's family on Saturday, 6th February at 11 a.m. at St. Columba's Church, Castlegar. This Mass will be live streamed on the Church Webcam and also  available to listen to on the Parish radio locally.  Funeral after Mass to Rahoon Cemetery.
