Ita passed away this afternoon very peacefully at her residence on 7th September 2020 surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Donal, sister Teresa and brothers-in-law Jack, Alphonsus & Joe, sisters-in-law Helena & Maureen.
Sadly missed by her devoted children, sons Donie & John, daughters Joan & Mary Ita, sons-in-law Liam & James, daughters-in-law Nora & Catherine, grandchildren Leanne, Daniel, Stephen, Lorraine, Christopher, Tara, Maeve & Amy, brother Seanie, sisters Ann & Helen, brothers-in-law Pat & Bernard, sisters-in-law Eileen & Joan, nephews, nieces, cousins, kind neighbours and a large circle of friends.

A Private Family Funeral & Burial will take place, for immediate family and close friends only, due to Government advice and HSE guidelines,current restrictions on funerals is a maximum of 50 people.

For those who would like to pay their respects by means of standing in a guard of honour, can do so as the funeral cortège passes through the village on route to Holy Cross Cemetery.
Requiem Mass will take place in St. Bartholomew’s Church, Athea, on Wednesday at 12 noon, burial immediately after in Holy Cross Cemetery.
