Jack Hughes
of Charnwood Bray, formerly Crone, Redcross, Co. Wicklow and retired Garda Sergeant, An Garda Síochána.
On November 9th, 2025, unexpectedly at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Beloved son of the late Thomas and Catherina Hughes (née Doyle), brother of the late Margaret Callahan, Mary Mirchandani and Kitty Corr, brother-in-law of the late Ormonde Morgan, Joe Callahan, Kan Mirchandani, Tom Corr and Brian McCabe and uncle of the late Kieran Morgan.
Remembered with love by his devoted family, sisters Lucy Morgan and Sadie McCabe, nieces and nephews Joseph, Michael, David, Gerald, Fiona, Anil, Tom, Phyl, Catriona, Edel, Kieran, Leah and Colm, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, neighbours, former colleagues, wide circle of friends and most importantly his beloved dog Saoirse.
Reposing in St. Patrick’s Church, Barranisky, Avoca, Co. Wicklow (Y14 WV70) on Thursday afternoon (November 13th) from 1pm until 2pm, followed by funeral Mass to celebrate Jack’s life at 2.30pm after which Jack will be laid to rest in the family grave in the adjoining cemetery.
