Jack (Jackie) O'Brien

Jack passed peacefully, on December 16th at his home, surrounded by his loving family after a short illness, at the age of 91. Beloved husband of the late Joan (nee Nash) and predeceased by parents John & Mary, sister Kit, brothers Mike & Willie and granddaughter Alanna. Deeply loved and sadly missed father of his adored children, Gerard, Owen, Marie (Histon) and Brendan, Gerard's partner Maura, daughters in law Ciara and Karen, son in law John, sister in law May, his cherished grandchildren Susan, Jack, Chael, Marguerite, Bran, Rachel, David, Johnny, Lucy, Isabelle, Olivia, Anna, John, Patrick, Bobby and Alice, great-granddaughters, Ella & Holly, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Jack will repose at his son Owen's residence at Mahoonagh, Castlemahon (Eircode V42 YH63) opposite Castlemahon Church on Monday, 18th December, from 4pm to 8pm. Removal to the Church of St. John the Baptist, Castlemahon, on Tuesday, 19th December, for requiem Mass at 11:30am, followed by burial afterwards at Castlemahon Cemetery.
