Jack (John) Ahern

Jack (John) Ahern, Loughnagore, Farranfore, Co. Kerry passed away unexpectedly but peacefully in his 76th year at home surrounded by his loving family on 10th February 2026. Predeceased by his parents Mick and Eily, his brothers Mike and Dan, his sister Brigid, his nephew Donal and niece Ruth. Jack will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his wife Anne, daughters Suzanne and her husband Jerry, Gillian and her partner Sean, Aileen and her husband Kevin. Cherished by his adored grandchildren Aisling, Padraig, Niamh, Jack, Fionn, Holly and Conor and his great grandchildren Teddy, Richie and Rosie. Fondly remembered by his brother Den, sister Mary, brother in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, wonderful neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at Killeentierna Parish Centre, Currow on Thursday from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Remains arriving at the Church of St. Therese and St. Colmcille, Currans at approx. 10.45am on Friday for 11am Mass. Burial afterwards in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Killeentierna. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers to Castleisland First Responders.
