The death has occurred of
JACK (JOHN) SCANNELL
Scannell Jack (John) (Monkstown Co. Cork), passed on January 4th, 2026 peacefully at the Mercy University Hospital, dearly loved by his wife Kathleen, adored by his children Sonia (Francis), Gail (Sheil), Rhona (Reid), Shane, Niamh and Ciara (Cain). Predeceased by his parents Jeremiah and Charlotte and brother Eric. Sadly missed by his loving wife, family, grandchildren Glen, Laura, Luke, Ryan, Ciaran, Niamh, Gearoid, Tiernan, Rebecca, Matthew, Mary, Dominic, Sean, Katie, Evelyn, Eleanor and Penny, sons-in-law Ken, Leonard, Paul, Gareth, daughter-in-law Jacinta and Niamh's partner Karl, sister Betty, brother Frank, sisters-in-law Linda and Pat, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Fordes Funeral Home, Old Waterpark, Carrigaline on Wednesday (January 7th) from 5.00pm until 6.00pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday (January 8th) at 1.00pm at The Sacred Heart Church Monkstown which may be viewed on (Link Here). Funeral afterwards to The Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy at 3:00pm which may be viewed here(Link Here).
