Jack Murtagh

Jack Murtagh, Ougham, Tubbercurry, Co.Sligo. Peacefully, following a short illness at home and surrounded by his adoring family. Predeceased by his beloved wife Geraldine (O'Carroll), parents John and Úna, sisters Sr. Carmel, Eithne (Gilmartin) and Úna (Casserly). Cherished dad of Niamh, Oonagh and Ronan, father-law to Michael Gallagher and Denis Kelly and grandfather to Bertie, Bronagh, Caoimhe, Síofra and Tadgh. He will also be sadly missed by his brother Liam, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Jack will be reposing in his daughter Oonagh's house (F91 E6P3)) on this Tuesday evening from 5 o'clock until 8 o'clock. Funeral on Wednesday morning to arrive in St John The Evangelist Church, Tubbercurry for requiem Mass at 11.30 o'clock followed by burial in Rhue Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to North West Hospice c/o Brennan Funeral Directors.
