Jack Stratton

Retired former Engineering Officer, ESB. 19th December, 2025. Peacefully, at home in his 94th year with Valerie, Joan and Mary at his side; beloved husband of the late Eilis. Jack will be sadly missed by his loving daughters, son-in-law Pat, grandsons Shane, Timothy and James, great-grandson Roan, great-granddaughter Saibh, extended family, former work colleagues, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Jack was proud to be part of the Rural Electrification of Ireland Scheme and was always grateful to the people whose paths in life he crossed and the wonderful friends he cherished. In his retirement Jack devoted his time to fishing and the outdoor life.

Reposing at McGuill’s Funeral Home, Bennekerry, R93 E5N7 on Saturday from 6.00p.m. concluding with Prayers at 8.00p.m. Removal on Sunday morning to St. Joseph’s Church, Tinryland (walking from Tinryland Park) arriving for Funeral Mass at 10.00a.m. followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.
