It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Jack Walters-Coffey, Smith O’Brien Avenue, Kileely, Limerick and late of Coffey Memorials, Mulgrave Street, Limerick

 

On January 10th 2026, suddenly, but peacefully.

 

Beloved son of Fergal and Louise and much loved brother of David, Erin (Sheahan) and twin sister Rachel.

 

Jack will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his loving family, nephews Ben, Cathal, Tadgh and Alex, brother-in-law Seamus, Rachel’s partner Goce, Fergal's partner Miriam, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Reposing at Cross’s Funeral Home, Lower Gerald Griffin Street, Friday, January 16th, from 4.30pm to 6pm.

 

Funeral will arrive Saturday, January 17th, at St. Lelia’s Church, Kileely Road, for Requiem Mass at 10am, Funeral afterwards to Mount St. Oliver Cemetery.

Jack’s funeral cortége will pass the family home in Smith O’Brien Avenue and will travel through Mulgrave Street en route to the Cemetery.

Jack’s family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the Paramedics, Gardai, Dr. Kieran Joyce also to his loyal friend Rachel (Knocklong) and to his many lifelong friends for their support over the years in particular the last few days.
