Jackie (Jack) Biggins

Jackie Biggins (Jack), Derreen, Belcarra, Castlebar, Co. Mayo, 22nd May 2025, peacefully, at the home of his son Declan.

 

Predeceased by his beloved son Baby Donal, his parents Owen and Agnes, his brothers Jimmy and Owen, and his sister Bridie Jennings.

 

Jackie will be deeply missed and forever loved by his devoted wife and best friend Christina. Beloved father of Eileen, Bernie, Michael, Declan, Kieran, Deirdre, Fintan, and Sean. He will be lovingly remembered by his sister Nellie Burke, his adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

 

May his gentle soul rest in peace.

 

Reposing at the home of his son Declan in Derreen, Belcarra, Castlebar, (F23WT02), (via Belcarra and exit Breaffy Road) on Saturday evening (May 24th) from 4pm -8pm.

 

The funeral cortege will leave Declan’s residence in Derreen on Sunday morning (May 25th) at 11:30 a.m. to arrive at St Anne’s Church, Belcarra for Requiem Mass at 1pm.

 

Jackie will be laid to rest afterwards in Elmhall cemetery.
