Jackie Joe O’Donnell, Caherhayes, Abbeyfeale, Co. Limerick, passed away peacefully, following a brief illness, in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff of Muckross Ward at University Hospital Kerry on Wednesday, 28th January 2026. Predeceased by his parents John and Kathleen, brother Denis and infant sister Eileen. Jackie Joe is very sadly missed by his loving wife Bridie, sons Padraig and Brendan, daughter Denise, son-in-law Liam, daughter-in-law Anna, grandchildren Lorna, Clodagh, Eoghan, Nicole and Shane, brothers Mossie, Mike, Martin, Daniel, Paddy and Jim, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, all his other relatives and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Harnett’s Funeral Home, The Square, Abbeyfeale (V94 AK44) on Thursday 29th January from 6.00 p.m. until 8.00 p.m. Requiem Mass for Jackie Joe’s will be celebrated on Friday 30th January in The Church of the Assumption, Abbeyfeale at 11.00 a.m.
