Jackie Murray

Murray Jackie, Bridge Street, Oughterard, Co. Galway, passed away peacefully in his 92nd year, at the Bons Secours Hospital Galway on November 14th 2020, surrounded by his loving family. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Patricia, his son David, daughters Dolores, Mary, and Margaret, his son in law John, his adored grand daughter Isla, his brother in law, sisters in law, his cousin Maire, and a wide circle of neighbours and friends.

Jackie's funeral cortège will arrive at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Oughterard, for a private funeral Mass at 11 o'clock on Wednesday the 18th with burial afterwards in Kilcummin Cemetery. 

Due to ongoing government restrictions and public health guidelines around social gatherings, Jackie's funeral will be held privately. In line with the family’s wishes, anybody attending the Mass will be on a list compiled by them to help with contact tracing as recommended by government guidelines. If you choose to attend the burial or stand in a guard of honor, please maintain social distancing and avoid hand shaking for the safety of all in attendance.
