Jackie Pettit

The death has occurred of Jackie Pettit, Gortgarrow, Clonberne, Co. Galway, age 93, on April 15th 2025 in the loving care of the staff of St. Francis Nursing Home Kilkerrin.

Pre-deceased by his parents Nora and John, his sister Bridie and sister in law Phil.

Jackie will be dearly missed by his brother Jimmie (San Francisco), his nieces, nephews, cousins, the Comer family (Lisheen), his extended family, neighbours and friends.

May his kind and gentle soul Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Clonberne Community Centre (H53 W3W2) on Friday April 18th at 8pm with removal to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (H53 XC89) at 9pm. Funeral Liturgy will be held on Saturday April 19th at 12 noon, followed by burial in Glenamaddy Old cemetery.
