With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jacqueline (Jackie) Dunne, who departed this world suddenly but peacefully at home, enveloped in the loving embrace of her family. Jacqui’s remarkable spirit, infectious laughter, and indomitable courage illuminated the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

 

Preceded in death by her adored son Kevin, mother Angela, brothers John and Martin, Jacqui leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will forever resonate in the hearts of those she cherished.

 

As the beloved wife of Anto, the adored mother of Lynsey, Amanda and Hazel and cherished daughter of Paddy, Jacqui’s nurturing presence and unwavering support were the cornerstones of her family’s strength. Her daughters, grandchildren Morgan, Jack, Mya, Jorja, Danny, and Grace, along with son-in-law Gavin, Amanda and Hazel’s partners Tommy and Fred, were the joy of her life, and her love for them knew no bounds.

 

Jackie’s laughter, like a beacon of light, guided her through life’s darkest moments with resilience and grace. Her humour was her armour, her courage manifested through smiles and shared jokes, even in the face of adversity. She taught us that in laughter, there is healing, and in joy, there is strength.

 

She will be deeply missed by her husband, daughters, grandchildren, sons-in-law, partners, sisters June, Pauline, Lorraine, and Margaret, brothers Noel, Wacky, Robert, and Paul, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, friends, and all whose lives were touched by her warmth and kindness.

 

Though Jackie may have bid farewell to this world, her spirit lives on in the echoes of laughter and the memories of her unwavering love. May she find eternal peace in the arms of her loved ones who have gone before her and may her legacy of laughter and courage continue to inspire us all.

 

Rest in peace, dear Jackie, knowing that your laughter will forever echo in our hearts.

 

Reposing at her home this Wednesday the 15th between 5pm and 8pm.

Removal on Friday to Dardistown Crematorium for a service to celebrate her life at 1.30pm.
