James Aherne

Formerly of Belvelly, Cobh. 

Peacefully after a short illness surrounded by his loving family at Cork University Hospital. Beloved husband of Doreen (nee Gilheaney) & much-loved father of Melissa, James & Áine, dear brother of Mick, John & Nuala. Sadly, missed by his loving wife, son, daughters, brothers, sister, extended family, relatives & friends.

May Jim Rest In Peace

Jim will repose in Cahill's Funeral Home, Newtown Rd., Cobh P24Y383 on Thursday, December 22nd, from 6pm with rosary at 7pm. Reception into St. Colman's Cathedral on Friday, December 23rd, at 10.45am for 11am Requiem Mass followed by burial in Old Church Cemetery.
