James (Alfie) Chute

James (Alfie) Chute of Racecourse Road, Greenville, Listowel, Co. Kerry and formerly Boston, U.S.A., died peacefully on 10th December 2025, beloved husband of Joan, cherished father of Norah, Tony and the late Charlie and dear brother of Chas and the late Angela and Margaret.

Sadly missed by his loving family, his grandchildren Cathal, Oisín, Jack, Molly, Charlie & Lucy, daughter-in-law Jani, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, former colleagues and many friends.

Alfie will repose at the Gleasure Funeral Home, Greenville, Listowel on Tuesday (16th December) from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral arriving to St. John’s Theatre and Arts Centre, The Square, Listowel on Wednesday morning for Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Interment afterwards in St. John Paul II Cemetery, Listowel.
