James Allen

ALLEN (Late of Riverview Estate, Ballyvolane and Blarney Street, Cork): On December 7th 2025, peacefully, in his 91st year, in the presence of his loving family and in the exceptional care of the staff at Grange Con Nursing Home, JAMES (POP), (late of Dunlops), dearly beloved husband of the late Lila (née Long), much loved father of Ger and the late David and James, adored Pop of Sarah, Emma, Kevin and Mark, cherished great-grandfather of Ellie, Harry, Emily and Caoimhe.

Sadly missed by his loving son, grandchildren and their mother Emer, sister Kathleen, Ger’s partner Deirdre, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the Coburg Street Funeral Home of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd. on Tuesday (December 9th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.

Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Wednesday (December 10th) in the Church of the Most Precious Blood, Clogheen.

Funeral afterwards to Rathcooney Cemetery.
