The death has occurred of
James B. (Seamus) Delahunty
DELAHUNTY, James B. (Seamus) (Chicago, USA, and formerly of The Parade, North Circular Road, Dublin and Freshford, Co. Kilkenny. Proud member of Local 399. U. S. Army Veteran.) – February 27th, 2026 (peacefully) at the age of 88. Beloved husband of the late Patricia, son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth and brother of the late Kathleen. He is lovingly remembered by his daughter Yvonne (Padraig) Daly, son Joe, daughter-in-law Christine and his cherished grandchildren; Aisling, Aidan, Meghan, Declan and Kelsey who were the light of his life. He is also survived by his brother Eamon and sisters Eilish, Moira, along with many nieces and nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
May he Rest In Peace.
A funeral service will take place on Monday (2nd March) in St. Paul of the Cross Church, Chicago, USA arriving for 10 a.m. (4 p.m. in Ireland) Mass followed by burial to All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hines VA would be appreciated.
