James Barrett

Barrett (Bandon) on September 4th 2021 suddenly and peacefully at his home in Coolfadda. James, beloved husband of Breda (nee O’Donoghue) and adored father of Marion (Cashman), Susan (O’Sullivan) and Irene (Guédan).

Sadly missed by his loving wife, daughters, sons-in-law Pat, Gerard and Léo, grandchildren James, Anna, Danny, Ailbhe, Eoin, Louis, Ciara, Aoife and Charlotte, sisters Jean (Murphy) and Irene (Bushell), brothers-in-law Jim, Fergus and Liam, sister-in-law Kathleen Hanley, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

James’ Funeral Cortege will leave his home on Monday at 10.30am approx. en route to St. Patrick’s Church, Bandon for a private Requiem Mass at 11am. Under new Government guidelines, the capacity of the Church is limited to 50%, but the Requiem Mass will be livestreamed on www.bandonparish.ie/live, funeral afterwards to the adjoining Cemetery.
