James (Blue, Blu-Blu, Bluer) Carroll

Carroll, James (Blue, Blu-Blu, Bluer) Sunrise: 17th January 1950, Sunset: 10th April 2026, late of Tallaght and formerly of Inchicore, passed peacefully after a very short illness surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of the staff of St Catherine’s Ward, in Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross; Beloved husband and best friend to Marion and loving and devoted dad to Audrey, Paul and Anthony.

Blue will be forever loved and very sadly missed by his loving family, wife, children, his adored grandchildren Síofra, Seán, James, Ciara, Darragh, Aidan and Jessica, son-in-law Hugh, daughters-in-law Jamie and Stacy, brothers Joe and the late Pat and William, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, wide circle of friends and neighbours.

May Blue’s gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral home, The Square Tallaght (opp Tallaght Stadium) on Monday (13th April) from 3pm to 5pm. A Funeral Service to celebrate Blue’s life will take on Tuesday (14th April) at 3pm in The Temple, in Newlands Cross Crematorium followed by cremation.
