James Dempsey

After a brave battle our much loved and adored James (Ex Irish Defence Force) passed away on April 3rd 2026. Peacefully in the comfort of his own home surrounded by his loving family and our dogs Bell and Bluey. Predeceased by his Sister Patti, brother-in-law Joe, nephew Kevin, Mum, Dad, sister Mary Philomena and his great friends Pj Walsh and Terry Dunne. Beautiful James will be loved and missed daily by his wife and best friend Judy, his beautiful children Matthew, Grace, Sharon his adored grandchildren Megan, Gemma, Dylan, Matilda and Pippa, brothers Pat, Dennis and Shawn, sister Bernie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, sons-in-law, great neighbours and friends.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Keegan's Funeral Home on Sunday April 5th from 5pm until 6.30pm with rosary at 6pm. Requiem mass on Easter Monday at 1pm in SS Peter and Pauls Church Portlaoise followed by a private cremation.
