The death has occurred of
James (Diamond Jim) Whelehan
Late of The Irish Naval Service & Irish Steel.
Peacefully at Marymount University Hospital & Hospice. Beloved husband of Maureen & the late Mary, beloved father of Sylvia & Seamus & dear brother of Kieran, Willie, Brian, Marie & the late Frank. Sadly, missed by his loving wife, daughter, son, Maureen's children Jenny & Keith, brothers, sister, extended family, relatives & a wide circle of friends.

Jim's funeral cortege will leave Cahill's Funeral Home at 11am on Monday March 15th en route to St. Colman's Cathedral for 11.30am family only Requiem Mass followed by private cremation at The Island Crematorium Ringaskiddy.
Jim's Requiem Mass will be livestreamed on www.cobhcathedralparish.ie at 11.30am on Monday March 15th.
Those who would have liked to attend Jim's Requiem Mass but due to current restrictions cannot do so, can leave a personal message in the condolence section below.
