James Doolan

The death has occurred of Professor James Doolan, (former Senator), Kingston, Galway City.

Peacefully, in the loving care of his family after a short illness.

He is predeceased, by his parents Patrick and Lelia Doolan, his sisters Ann (Gallagher) and Mary (Colley).

He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Caroline (Lane Doolan), his sister Lelia, brothers, Patrick and Matt.

He will be mourned, by his brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, and relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends and colleagues at University of Galway, The Oireachtas and the World Bank.

Reposing at the Corless Funeral Home, Kinvara H91 VN8X, this Monday evening September 15th from 5:00 p.m. with removal at 7:00 p.m. to St. Colman's Church, Ballinderreen, H91 N611.

Requiem Mass at 12 noon on Tuesday, September 16th, followed by interment in Drumacoo Cemetery.
