James Dorban

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of James (Jamie) Dorban suddenly on March 23rd, 2026.

Pre-deceased by his loving parents Peggy and Fred, and his sisters Eileen and Sheila.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Theresa; his sons William, Jack, Frederick and Finnbar; his daughter Georgia; his adored grandson Theodore and granddaughter Adeline; his brothers David, Brian and Michael; nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Jamie will be forever remembered as a pillar of strength, empathy, confidence and kindness to us and all who knew him.

Jamie will be fondly remembered by many.

Reposing at Brett’s Funeral Home, Mullinahone (E41 EV78), on Tuesday, March 31st, from 6pm to 8pm.

Requiem Mass on Wednesday, April 1st, at 11:30am, followed by burial afterwards in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Killaghy, Mullinahone.

Family flowers only, please.

Donations, if desired, can be made in Jamie’s memory to Critical Emergency Medical Response National ambulance service.
