James Downes

Downes, James, (Abberley, Killiney, formerly of Tonlegee Road, Raheny and Abbeyfield, Killester). Passed away peacefully, after a long illness, on September 28th 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Also in the extraordinary care of the doctors, nurses and carers of The Royal Hospital, Donnybrook and the Palliative care team Blackrock.

James will be forever loved and missed by his beloved wife Valerie, daughter Cathy, son Paul and his dear sister Angela. Deeply missed by his grandchildren, great grandchildren, wider family, nephews, nieces, friends and neighbours.

James will be reposing at Jennings Funeral Home, Springdale Road, Raheny on Monday 3rd October from 3.00-5.00pm.
