James Faul

James Faul, Mullacrew, Louth Village, Co. Louth. James passed away peacefully on 27th February, 2026, while in the tender and devoted care of the staff at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, surrounded by the love and support of his family, after being lovingly cared for by the staff of St. Oliver Nursing Home. Beloved husband of Patricia née Daly, cherished father of Kevin (Jenny), Brendan (Therese), Seamus (Joan) Eilish (Cyril), David (Natalie), Patrick (Alena), much-loved grandad of Brian, Sarah, Steven, Laura, Ciara, Aisling, Adam, Lily, Farah and Muireann, and brother of the late Sr. Bernadette, Anne Gilmore and Sr. Frances. He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by his heartbroken wife, sons, daughter, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, brother-in-law, extended family, neighbours and many friends whose lives were enriched by his kindness, warmth and gentle presence.

James will repose at McGeoughs Funeral Home, Jocelyn Street (A91XW66) from 1pm until 5pm on Sunday. HOUSE PRIVATE AT ALL TIMES. Removal on Tuesday morning from his home to The Church of the Immaculate Conception Louth, (A91 H672) arriving for Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in adjoining Cemetery.
