James Flynn
After an unexpected and sudden diagnosis of cancer in late December, James died peacefully in the arms of his devastated family - Juanita, Alex and Anna. He faced this diagnosis with the calm courage and strength that he brought to everything he did, never losing his sense of humour and chose to remain steadfastly positive and optimistic right to the end. His loss will be felt not just by his immediate family, his mother Frances, brother Ronan, sister-in-law Naomi, aunt Liz and all his relatives but also by the many great friends and colleagues he had here in Ireland and throughout the world. Words cannot express the depth of our sorrow or the extent of our appreciation for everything he did.
He will be reposing at his home in Stepaside, Co. Dublin (D18 FK80) from 4.00pm on Wednesday (15th February) until his funeral on Friday (17th February) in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, Dublin 6W at 2.30pm. For those who would have wished to attend in person but cannot, the Service may also be viewed online at mountjerome.ie. Donations, in lieu of flowers, in support of The Arc Cancer Support Centre would be gratefully appreciated.
