James G. Sweeney

James G. Sweeney , (M.V.B MRCVS) , “Roxboro” , Battery Road , Longford and formerly of Ballyhoolivan , Moatefarrell . 21st December 2024 , peacefully in his 94th year in the loving care of the nurses and staff of Laurel Lodge Nursing Home.

Pre-deceased by his parents James and Maud and by his beloved wife Thérèse .

James will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family , daughters Mary and Catherine , sons James and Nick , daughters-in-law Linda and Ursula , son-in-law Peter , sister-in-law Sr.Mary , grandchildren Sophie , Isabelle , Rebecca , Doyle , Sarah , Katie , Tom and Jamie , relatives and friends.

Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home , Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81) on Sunday 22nd December from 5.00pm concluding with prayers at 7.00pm . Mass of The Resurrection on Monday 23rd December in St.Mel’s Cathedral at 11.00am , interment afterwards in Ballymacormack cemetery.
