James Garrett (Garry) Fitzsimons

Fitzsimons (Kinsale) on July 24th 2020 in the loving care of the Staff at Bridhaven Nursing Home, Mallow. James Garrett (Garry), (Past President & Treasurer of Kinsale Golf Club, Past President of Kinsale Lions Club, Chairman of Kinsale Chamber of Tourism, Brain Child of Kinsale Food Forum, Opera Singer, Scout Leader, Cork Male Voice Choir and Kinsale Parish Choir), beloved husband of Anne (nee Toal), Harbour Heights, and dear father of Shane, Paula (Carter), David and Barry, beloved son of the late James and Anne, and brother of the late Deirdre.

Sadly missed by his loving wife, family, son-in-law Ian, daughters-in-law Deirdre, Jenny and Denise, his 11 grandchildren, brother Peter, sister Nuala, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and many friends.

In an effort to follow Government and HSE guidelines, Garry’s Funeral will be private. The family would like to thank you for your co-operation and understanding at this difficult time. Condolences can be left on the 'condolence' link below.

Garry’s Funeral cortege will be passing through Harbour Heights on Monday at 1.30pm approx. on route to St. John the Baptist Church, Kinsale for a private Requiem Mass and after the Funeral Mass, the cortege will proceed in the traditional route through Kinsale town. Garry’s Funeral Mass will be livestreamed on www.kinsale-parish.org on Monday at 2pm.
