James Gibbons (Fortfield, Castlebar, Co. Mayo and formerly Accony, Louisburgh, Co. Mayo) (ex Eircom) September 19th 2023:- Peacefully in the exceptional care of the staff of Cuan Chaitriona Nursing Home, Castlebar, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his sisters and brothers Mary, Norah, Eileen, Myles, Tom, Paddy & Geoffrey. Deeply mourned and lovingly remembered by his loving wife Nina (née Taylor), daughters & son Michelle, Ruth, Deirdre, James & Laura, brother John, grandchildren Marc, Chloe, Luc, Ciara, Aoibhinn, & Conor, sons-in-law Philippe, Billy, & Jason, daughter-in-law Deirdre, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended Gibbons & Taylor families, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

May His Soul Rest In Peace.

James will lie in repose at Coady's Funeral Home, Linenhall St., Castlebar on Thursday (Sept. 21st) from 5.00pm., concluding with Vigil Prayers at 7.00pm. Funeral arriving to the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar on Friday at 10.40am. for 11.00am., Mass of Christian Burial, followed by interment in Killeen (New) Cemetery, Louisburgh at 1.45pm approx.
