James Griffin, Davitt Road, Mountmellick, formerly of Ballynane, Annascaul, Co. Kerry.

Peacefully, and in the loving care of his heartbroken family.

Predeceased by his sisters Agnes and Kay.

Beloved husband to Charlotte, loving father to son John, daughters Caroline, Anne and Claire. Grandchildren James, Lucy, Emma, Laoise, Tadhg, Jenna and John. Daughter-in-law Geraldine, sons-in-law Michael and John. Brother Paddy, and sister Mary, brothers-in-law, sister-in-laws, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends and former colleagues of An Garda Sìochàna.

May his gentle soul rest in everlasting peace.

Reposing Moloney’s Funeral Home on Sunday from 3.30pm. Recital of the Rosary at 6pm. Removal from his home on Monday at 10.30am to St. Joseph’s Church arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial after in St Joseph’s Cemetery.

Family flowers only. Donations in lieu of flowers to Irish Cancer Society Night Nurses.
