Peacefully at UCH, Galway.

Beloved husband of Carol, much loved father of Brendan and Niamh and adored grandfather of Charlotte and Clara.

James will be sadly missed by his sorrowing wife, son, daughter, precious grandchildren, Niamh's partner Josh, brother's Anthony & Francis, sister's Agnes, Maggie, Anne, Kathleen, Bernie, Ita & Laura, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, former work colleagues at Roscommon County Council and friends.

James is predeceased by his parents Tom & Patsy, his brother Tom and his sister Irene (Hanlon).

James' remains will arrive at The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Strokestown, on Wednesday, October 8th, at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday, October 9th, at 11am. Private family cremation to follow at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.
