James Hanlon

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of James Hanlon Snr., 39 Marian Place, Glin, Co. Limerick. James passed away on Friday 27th February 2026, peacefully at home surrounded by his family.

James is predeceased by his parents Julia and Tom, sisters Hannah, Nora Mai, Mary Joe and Kathleen.

James will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Josephine, daughters Ann and Kathleen, sons Thomas and James, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, grand-children, great grand-children, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing in The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Glin (V94YC66) on Sunday 1st March (2026) from 5.30pm until 7.30pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in The Church of the Immaculate Conception on Monday 2nd March at 12 noon. Burial in Kilfergus Cemetery, Glin.
